Work in Progress Wednesday

I have been quite keenly working on this piece since I have figured out what I want to do.  It is coming together and I am pleased.  There is still a fair amount of stitching to do but I feel like I am making progress and that is a good thing.

    The colour scheme is amazing, the orange and purple play so well together, and you have used the lace to its fullest. Did you dye it especially for this piece?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
