Needle Felting

Wow, it has been quite a while since I have done any needle felting.  Kind of sad that it felt like a work out for me!  I had a lovely scrap of wool fabric laying on my desk and it called to me to become a leaf.  I love the shape of a Burr Oak leaf.  I have an altered book project that this leaf will be put into.  I may need to add some embroidery and or beading to it first though.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
