Slow Stitching Sunday

I took this piece with me on my holidays.  Good thing it packed up small and I didn't take a lot of threads as I didn't do any stitching on it.  I made up for that now that I have returned.  I have learned a couple of new stitches and added them.  I love the way this is progressing.  It is a very happy piece.

  3. It is nice, and wise, to plan and prepare for stitching while on holiday. However, I think often there is no stitching done and that is actually good. A holiday is for enjoying a different place and different activities. What we see and experience on the trip can often give inspiration for a future stitching project at home after the holiday.
It IS a beautiful landscape you have there.

  4. Deb, yes I melted crayons and also painted the background fabric. It was great fun!
