Work in Progress Wednesday

This is the very beginning of my March Bead Journal project.  It is, of course, a mandala.  I decided to use one of my mandala stencils on this one.  I have only previously used these stencils on my hand drawn mandalas.  It should be interesting to see where this takes me.

    Hi Angela! I've never heard of a mandala but it looks like it makes a nice spiral shape. I could use that for quilting, especially since it's a stencil. ~smile~ Roseanne

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
