Work in Progress Wednesday

I have sandwiched a paper kirigami piece between two sheer fabrics and machine stitched it all together.  I have also added some dimensional fabric paint.  I plan to add hand stitching and beading to it.  Another in my mandala series.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
