April Bead Journal

The sheer fabric is pretty but a little unpleasant to use. I ended up putting Fray Check on it and that helped.  Of course, then you could see the Fray Check on the edge so I needed to solve that problem.  I decided to use the wooden butterfly buttons I had ordered last year.  I am quite pleased with the way that looks.  Still, there is lots more to do.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
