Work in Progress Wednesday

This is a fun piece for me as it is all experimentation.  The background is a mandala that turned out rather PINK.  I am working at taming that.  I made a colour copy of one of my coffee filter mandalas. I reduced it to about half size and adhered it to fusible interfacing and applied it to the centre of this piece.  I like the way this is coming and plan to add beads and stitch.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
