Photography

Our weather has been beautifully warm and sunny.  It takes me back to our trip to Mexico where we saw the most magnificent street art.  This turtle is stunning.  It kind of makes me think of a crazy quilt.

    I wish we had more street art in our town. I really enjoy seeing what folks share each week. It seems to brighten up what could otherwise be featureless or dingy.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
