Slow Stitching Sunday

I am so enjoying the stitching on this one.  I am trying to be more purposeful about my stitching.  Each time I intend to stitch I get out a different collection of threads.  I have an AMAZING collection.  It gives me so much pleasure to look at the beautiful threads and then be intentional about using them.  So much texture and colour!  Joy!

    Hi Angela, I really love that one! I'm only aware of the obvious embroidery threads like DMC, Coats etc. Is there anything that you could recommend that I look into? BTW I saw your piece in the Stitch magazine. Congrats!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
