Work in Progress Wednesday


This is the start of my bead journal for July.  I started with a pink and white striped fabric.  I added paints and inks to it in a random fashion.  After that was dry I started adding paint to form the mandala design.  It is very loose and free.  I have stitched on some beetle wings in the centre and will continue with the beading.  I have enjoyed playing with paint again.  So fun!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
