Finished

I think my tree is finished. I am happy to let the pretty painty part show through. Originally I was thinking of dense stitching and beading but that would have covered up too much. This will be another page in the book I am creating for my granddaughter. I am really enjoying this project and learning so much. Not a lot about stitching but about writing. I found the software that I think I want to use. At least, I think it is. I haven't started using it yet but it seems like it will be good. I am linking to http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.com/

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
