Journal Cover

 I am working on a small journal and this is the cover.  Although vintage isn't my usual I do really like it.  Would I be a more successful artist if I picked a lane and stayed in it?  I know being focused is a good thing but can't I be focused and do different things.  I need to do different things maybe more than I need to be successful.  Actually, what is the definition of successful?  I am happy so I think I will call that my definition of successful.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
