Work in Progress Wednesday

 

Okay, this doesn't look like much yet.  Most of these fabrics are my own painted fabrics.  I have adhered them all to fusible interfacing and did some minimal machine stitching.  Next will come the fun part.  Embellishing.  I am wanting to depict a bright summer sky that goes on forever.  Don't you just love summer skies!  The mere thought of summer sky makes my shoulders drop and my breath slow.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
