Slow Stitch Sunday


 Slow stitching indeed!  I have started to add some flowers to the dress of my little girl.  My curious puppy has made it difficult to make much progress.  There is not a lot more that needs to be done.  I do need to remove the wonky flower on the sleeve and redo it.  I want to find a little rhinestone bow to add to the ponytail.  That will look cute!  I haven't quite decided what to do with the shoes.  They definitely need a bit of help.

Your little puppy sounds adorable. The stitching of the flowers on the little girl's dress is lovely. They make the dress come to life, don't they. A rhinestone cinching the ponytail will be perfect. As for the shoes.....I wonder what magic you will stitch??

Shoe laces or bows would be the obvious for the shoes, or you could add ankle straps...

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
