Slow Stitching Sunday


 This one is done.  I added some Inktense colour to get the sky right and I am happy with it now.  I added more stitching to the flowers.  I think it is time to stop.  Well, I may need to add something to back as I am planning for this to be a page in a large book.  Covering over the mess on the back might be a good idea.  Or maybe I will embrace the rebel in me and just let everyone see the mess.

    I love peeking at the messes on the back. My backs always look like those of a maniacal stitcher. Love all that glorious texture of the sky; together with the pretty flowers....your 'picture' is perfect!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
