Slow Stitching Sunday

There isn't a ton of beading on this mandala.  I took a mixed media approach to this one and I love it!  This fabric started as a cleanup cloth.  Granted I stopped using it to clean up messes once it got to a pretty point.  I added transfer foil and then another bit of paint to make the transfer foil less obvious.  I added more transfer foil for some in your face shine.  There is also some permanent marker and then the beading.  Using the hoop as my frame makes for an easy finish.  I have used up most of my supply of hoops now and should probably order some more.  The ones I have remaining are rather small.

I like the idea of using the hoop as a frame for this very pretty creation. I love it!

Mandalas look best when they are stretched, either in a hoop or over a piece of round cardboard. This mandala glitters!
Angela, I was so inspired to stop and see your Mandala progress I had to back out a bit and see some of your previous posts.... I love your creativity and I am glad you make time to let that creativity shine. Have a wonderful week and thanks for linking at Kathy's so I could find you ... I know you have visited me in the past but I obviously haven't had the pleasure because I am blown away. Happy bead finding! Kathi
