Slow Stitching Sunday


 I seem to be jumping about with my stitching projects.  The dog theme is pretty obvious with this one.  I plan to add it to my dog themed journal.  It represents our dog which was a cocker spaniel.  Oh, how I loved him.  This is just the outline and I plan to fill it in with stitching and beads.  I don't know if that will capture his fluffiness or not.  We will see, maybe I won't try too hard for that.

    It's fun to jump from project to project, don't you think. Your representation of your cocker spaniel is gorgeous. I love all the different elements you have added for the outline. I particularly love the chain stitches in metallic thread....so, so pretty.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
