Slow Stitching Sunday

 

I have pulled this piece out to work on it again.  It was feeling too precious and I was concerned about making a mistake on it.  That is never a good way for me to work.  So it had to go away for a while. I have now added some butterflies to it and like the look.  It maybe needs one more butterfly but smaller.  The butterflies were cut from fabric that I had marbled and the other from fabric I had done a rubbing.

    The colours in the dyed fabric are fabulous, Angela. Yes, another butterfly fluttering about would be perfect.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
