Work in Progress Wednesday


 This is the start of my next dog journal page.  This page is for Farley.  A wonderful dog!

I used sari silk to weave a base.  I then added some running stitches to keep everything in place.  It is a very different background from my other journal pages.  I will add his dog tag and probably minimal stitching.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
