Slow Stitching Sunday

My progress seems rather paltry.  I am okay with that.  This project is meant to stretch my thinking and I don't want to rush it.  

Pictured below are the templates I mentioned last week.  They are by Carole Samples.  There are so many to choose from.  They are a bit short.  I think I may dig out my scrapbooking rulers and they are longer and will do the same thing.

    The templates look perfect for short cq seams. For longer ones, you'd better use your scrapbooking rulers.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
