Slow Stitching Sunday

This mandala/kaleidoscope is a collaboration with my sister.  I manipulated a photo and printed it onto some cotton fabric.  I sent it to my sister and she added some beading.  This piece has been languishing for years and I decided it is time for me to complete it.  I added the yellow beads that criss-cross the cabochons.  I am not sure what the next step is but I trust it will come to me.

  3. That's a nice way to add beads to beads! I think I will use it to anchor and decorate plain buttons - if you don't mind me stealing your idea.

  4. I like the beads anchoring beads. I will use that idea for fastening buttons, if you don't mind me 'stealing' you idea.

  5. Dear Bubbles......that is a lovely piece and you are so lucky to have a sister to trade work back and forth. I like it that you know something will happen next but you don't know what it will be.

  6. Those beads are so dramatic! Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
