Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have gotten back to work on my children's book.  I thought I had all my stitched illustrations finished but there are a couple I am not super happy with.  This rainbow piece was just too sparse.  I have added more gems and more stitching.  There is still a bit more stitching to add and then it will be finished.

    Actually all rainbows should be made with gems - because real rainbows sparkle in the rain and sunlight. Yours is wonderful to look at.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
