Slow Stitching Sunday

I have started another seascape.  So much fun!  I love playing with colour and texture.  The old felted sweater found in a thrift store is the perfect base.  I have added some needle felting.  I have had fun going through my stash to find bits and pieces of silk to add.  This little playground is open to all sorts of materials.

  3. Love the gorgeous cable texture of the felted sweater for the background. It gives your seascape lots of texture and movement. It is the perfect choice for all your colourful pretties.

  4. That does look like fun! I love the felted sweater used as a background - perfect for water. Some artists where I live did a big storefront window installation that was an ocean scene - all made out of re-used plastic (bottles, bags, etc). It was fascinating!
