Slow Stitching Sunday


 I have made some beading progress on this piece.  The silk feels SO good.  I printed the design from one of my photos.  I feel a bit bad that I have used that expensive printer so very little. I need to print more fabric or sell it.  I so enjoy the beading process and need to figure out the next step for this one.  The fabric is already pretty busy so it probably doesn't need a lot more beads.

Is it a large printer? The piece of silk looks large.... and it IS beautiful.

Hi Angela, that looks great! Can you tell me what kind of printer you're using and if you use a specific transfer paper? I've tried different methods and am not having much luck, but I've never tried putting the fabric through the printer (if that's what you're doing)

Slow Stitching Sunday

 Working on another wool mandala.  It is a pleasure to have the wool on my lap now that the weather has turned colder.  I started this project back in the summer and didn't enjoy working on it so much then.  I wonder if I can complete this project this winter.  There are fifteen wool mandalas to do.  It doesn't seem likely that I will.  I could be wrong.  I don't want to put any undue pressure on myself.  There is no deadline.  The spring might be cool enough to continue working on it.   My but I do jump into the future.  Slow stitching really helps me to be present.  I am so grateful that stitching is such a balm for my soul.  We all need to have something that does that for us.   I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
