Slow Stitching Sunday

I finished up this mandala/kaleidoscope this week.  The silk fabric is printed with one of my kaleidoscope fabrics and therefore did not require a lot of stitching/beading.  I think I found the right amount.  I mainly used bigger sequins and beads as small ones would get lost in the busy pattern.

  2. That is so pretty! The combination of fabric, stitching, and beading makes a lovely design. I bet the silk feels lovely when you're stitching on it!

  3. There are so many beautiful parts on this mandala - the hearts, the shiny leaves and the colourless glass flowers - are they buttons?
