Snowflake Quilt


 I made this small quilt a number of years ago.  I wasn't completely happy with it at the time.  I came across it yesterday while looking through my work.  I have added some more snowflakes to it and that has improved it.  I am still considering whether to add some more small snowflakes to it.

    I think you have the right number of snowflakes - unless you want to create a snowstorm. Will you put on a border? Bind it? You could add a metallic lace as a frame and get a bit more 'frost' around the edges.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
