Little Collages


I have been having fun creating little mandala collages.  Layering pieces of cut paper is quite therapeutic.  Glueing it all together can be a bit fiddly but I am liking the result.  I haven't quite decided where these mandalas will go.  Do they get a book all to themselves?  Do they get added to an existing mandala journal?  Does it really matter?  Do they just get stacked up for now?

    Cut paper always reminds me of childhood and the 'snowflakes' we cut out and fixed to the window.
    I am sure you will find a way to display these.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
