Slow Stitching Sunday

Oh yes, bring on the bright and cheery.  This spring has been so cold and wet and that is causing me to crave sunshine.  That sunshine is coming in the form of fabric, thread and beads as I can do that for myself.  The centre is another needle felted piece.  Once I had stitched the centre piece to the lemony, shimmery fabric I knew I wanted to add fruit beads.  I knew I had some in my stash and after much searching I found them.  Alas, there was not enough.  I am not a big fan of amazon but it did come to my rescue.  Fast delivery really is nice.  What is next for this mandala?  I will patiently wait for my intuition to speak.

  3. Oh, your place is always filled with sunshine no matter the day outside, Angela. When I first glanced at this lovely mandala, I thought a hand and fingers in bright, happy colour. Love the addition of the fruit beads....how fun!

  5. What a cute little piece. I've just been moving everything upstairs from my sewing room and so when you said you found the little beads you were looking for, I smiled. . . I'm not sure where anything is anymore - ha!
