Journal Challenge

This month the challenge is doors/arches.  It took me a while to find an image of a door that I wanted to use.  I placed it in a garden and it seemingly goes nowhere.  It isn't logical and doesn't really make sense but that's okay.  It is what I wanted.  Doors can be magical portals to anywhere!  It is fun to dream about what could be on the other side of this door.  Where could it lead?  The possibilities are unlimited!  I haven't added any words to this page and still could.  I am thinking maybe a separate page of journaled words would work better.

Years ago I did a whole altered book about doors and windows.

Great page, “Doors”. Are a great them, as you say, they could lead anywhere. Angela CWJ

I agree, doors are magical. Maybe that is the reason doors can be so highly decorated.

I love your door and the surround. It leaves the reader to imagine what is behind the door. Thank you for sharing on AJJ for my theme.
I like how your door doesn't show where it is going. It makes it more suspenseful and leaves it up to us to decide where it leads to. And the garden you created is beautiful. I like the tree you added also Angela. It's a great piece and works perfect for Wendy's challenge. Thanks for joining us. hugs-Erika

A wonderful page and door. It makes me imagine it leading to a secret garden.

I think your journal page is perfect just as it is. It has a sort of mystery and mystique about it that makes you want to enter. I like the idea of a bit of wonder and surprise, too. This is a wonderful entry for Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey. BTW, I would LOVE to see your Doors and Windows altered book. I sure like the cover!
