Mandala Monday

 

My mixed media mandalas are just another way for me to express my creativity.  I used collage, paint, markers, kirigami and dimensional paint on this one.  These mandalas tend to be less intricate/detailed and therefore work up a little quicker.  I wonder how many of these I will create.  Will they end up in an installation or a journal?  hmm.  Until that decision is made they will reside in a box for safe keeping.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
