Mandala Monday



 

 The red and green make this one feel Christmasy to me.  Not necessarily a bad thing just a little out of the ordinary for me.   I think adding some black helped tone down the Christmas feeling a bit.  It also makes it feel more meditative for me.  

You would think that if I was going to post a holiday-type mandala today of all days it would have been for Halloween.  Oh well!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
