Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have been working on the mandala part of my collaboration with some seniors.  I really want it to say joy but I am not sure that I have accomplished that.  I am also not sure what else to add to it.  There is already a fair amount going on here.  Sometimes getting a mandala right can be a slow process!

    In my eyes this is joyful and completed. Overdoing something is not good, but give it a bit more time. You might come up with an idea of what you want to add.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
