Mandala Monday


 My mixed-media mandalas are such a great place to play with colour.  I do tend to use a lot of cool colours.  With these mandalas, I can add a colour that is out of the ordinary for me.  Experimenting and trying new things is what it is all about.  They are helping me to break out of my box.  That is a good thing!  I don't want to become stale or predictable.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
