Work in Progress Wednesday

Sometimes playing in my journal is the only work in progress that I have to share.  I bought some Moleskine journals from Costco. They have lined paper but it is very sturdy paper.  They were also a great price and not a lot of pages.  All those things work well for me.  I don't mind the lines because sometimes I want to write in my journals.  I also don't mind the lines when I am making my art because they help me to not be too precious about it.

On this page, I tried out some new paint.  I cleaned off a stencil and so on.  I decided to add a mixed-media mandala to it.  The substrate is like mylar and is quite flimsy.  I wasn't sure what I would do with it so it was just laying around.  Glueing it into my journal made the most sense.

This is very beautiful. I just love the color combinations of greens, purples, and aquas.
