Rainbows and Unicorns

Deep inside of me, there is a little girl that loves to play.  That playful little girl lives in a sparkly beautiful world.  I indulge her as often as I am able.  I have a unicorn journal that is full of positive and uplifting thoughts.  It is full of pretty colours but probably needs more glitter!

I have fond memories of my mother colouring with me.  I hope my granddaughter will as well.  I printed off unicorn pictures for us to colour years ago.  Mine found its way into this journal.  This journal spread could be better.  I will resist the urge to improve upon it.

I added faux stitching in a couple of areas so that it would fit with the challenge at https://doubletroublechallenge.blogspot.com/

Since when have unicorns become so popular with little girls or grandmothers for that matter?! There is a unicorn craze in Japan, but it started just a few years ago.

Angela, what a wonderful idea to create a journal... especially one with positive sentiments! I like your idea of coloring with your granddaughters (be sure to keep some of them!). Thank you so much for sharing your album page with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna

What a fun idea, Angela! I have saved artwork from the time when my nieces were growing up and we would color together. Thank you for joining our Double Trouble Challenge #130.
What an adorable unicorn for the fantasy challenge and love that you added some stitching to your pages to meet our requirement at Double Trouble... adorable and love the memories you have in your childhood coloring experiences. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and TFATU.
