Work in Progress Wednesday


 Another journal cover is finished and attached.  This journal houses 100 mandalas.  Most of them I have not posted here.  This blog would only have mandalas on it if I posted all that I have created.  It already has a lot so...  They are all painted and drawn mandalas.  Some of the beautiful and some of them are only okay.  I worked on them for l;kabout one year and it was time to call it done.  

The stitching is done with some beautiful silk thread a friend gifted to me.  I am so blessed!  It is stitched on silk and then attached to an upholstery-weight fabric.  That gives it a nice sturdiness.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
