Work in Progress Wednesday


 I have started another Radical Botanical piece.  The first one I started wasn't really doing anything for me.  This one looks completely uninteresting at the moment.  It will be a riot of colour in no time.  I am not sure how I will make it radical.  That really has me thrown right now.  But no more agonizing over that.  I will just do my own thing and let the radical idea happen or not.

I am just working on adding the green foliage at the moment.  I have so many interesting yarns that I can couch down.  It is fun to go through my stash.  I love that part of the process it is quite enjoyable to me.  I will try to think of a funky way to do the flowers.  Maybe incorporating some paper would be interesting.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
