Mandala Monday


 Working with my daily mandala practice feels good.  Holidays are great but so is getting back to my regular life, which I have curated into something I love.  I am grateful for both.  This mandala is fairly simple but I love the way the silver metallic marker shows up on the green background.  

I happened upon a couple of art stores while on my holiday so, of course, I had to purchase a couple of little things.  I am excited to try them out on some mandalas.

    Such beautiful colours, silver and teal. The design is very pleasing, too with both straight and curved lines/dots.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
