Mandala Monday


 Mandalas on paper are so relaxing.  Especially at this time of year.  I love to take my sketchbook and art supplies outside.  Today the weather is perfect and the breeze is calling my name.  I must resist.  I have things that need doing.   I will focus on getting those things done and my reward will be to go outside once they are done.

Duty calls, first things first.... Yes, there are things that just need to be done before we can enjoy our pleasures!
The mandala is beautiful.
As for me, back to work, I hope to have the time to stitch tonight.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
