Slow Stitching Sunday

I have added to my stitched mandala some silk ribbon embroidery.  This mandala has been a joy to stitch.  Well, I guess they all are and that is why I keep making them.  It is getting close to finished and there are nineteen more to go for this project.  Thankfully, there is no deadline for this project!

I have been considering whether I should use this mandala for my meditation circuit.  The banners will be 2 x 2 feet.  I am not sure that this will be interesting enough at that scale.  Granted it isn't finished yet.  Oh, what to do?  Well, keep stitching at the very least!  It is supposed to be another beautiful day.  Stitching while on the deck is always a pleasure!

Gorgeous mandala! Love the colors. I have a post coming up on Tuesday you might be interested in seeing, as part of the Call me Crazy Blog Hop. Hope you have a great week!
Very pretty. I love the colours and stitches in this one.
Isn't that pretty?! Is it stitched on wool, Angela? I love the pretty colors against that blue!

When I saw this mandala from a distance (I was standing away from the computer screen) I thought of Japanese fireworks. Up close I see how rich and at the same time delicate the stitching is. Something you want to look with a magnifying glass.
I hope you have another creative day on the deck!
