Journal Page


 What if my art journal pages are gifts of love I give myself?  A friend sent me a lovely email the other day.  She encouraged me to celebrate my magnificent self.  It brought tears to my eyes.  I wanted to commemorate her encouraging words.  I want to remember to celebrate small things and big things and just being me.  

This page is loaded with acrylic paint, permanent markers, metallic markers, transfer foil, oil pastels and some Unicorn Spit.  It is loud and vibrant.  I had so much fun playing.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
