I like

LeeAnna and the gang are discussing the following;

2.  Would you rather go apple picking or carve pumpkins at home?

have you done either or both of these? what kind of apples and what was picking them like?  Do you always get pumpkins in the fall, or grow them yourself, do you keep the insides for eating? Remember any pumpkins that caught your eye or a pumpkin festival in your area?

I am all about the apples!  It has been a family tradition to go apple picking in the fall.  My niece has joined us in the last few years.  Everyone enjoys it.  I adore freshly picked apples.  I only eat apples in the fall when they are crunchy.  I am so picky!  I have never enjoyed scooping out the insides of pumpkins.  Yuck. I do like pumpkin pie though.

Last week another one of my nieces was visiting for an art day with me.  I like that my nieces want to spend time with me!  We got talking about this Einstein quote  I definitely come down on the side of believing everything is a miracle.

there are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

 I definitely come down on the side of believing everything is a miracle.  I love finding the wonder, the silver lining, the beauty, the lesson or the miracle in every situation.  Not always easy for sure.  I always feel better when I can see that sparkling miracle though.

  5. I sometimes picked apples in my grandfather's garden when I was little. I have never carved a Halloween pumpkin, but I often cut up a pumpkin to cook and eat. Japanese pumpkins are small, hard and very delicious.

    You are lucky to have several people in the family who share an interest in crafting and art with you. Enjoy the company and the activity.
