Mandala Monday


 I love this mandala.  Even still, in posting it publically I see all the imperfections.  I would rather focus on the beauty of it though.  I would rather focus on the beauty in every moment, every aspect of life.  Not always easy though.  It will be a lifelong practice.  

Right now the house is quiet.  I have two sleeping dogs with me.  My doggy daycare business is thriving.  I am honoured that people trust me with their precious pets.  I love that I can make art and care for these lovely guests at the same time.

I love the colours of your mandala and the design. It is rather unusual with its spiky edge, though.
You are lucky not to have a cat-sitting business. A group of feline hairballs will not go well with your craft supplies of threads and yarn...

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
