Mandala Monday


 My mandala creations give me a lot of peace and pleasure.  I am absolutely delighted that they seemingly do the same for others.  Yesterday my hubby walked our dog past the Mandala Meditation banners that I got a grant to create.  There was someone there pausing for long periods of time at each banner.  One must assume that she was enjoying them at the very least!  That feels good to me.

I want to make art that matters.  Art that makes a difference in someone's life.  I know it makes a difference in my life!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
