Slow Stitching Sunday

I have added some more beading to this mandala.  Oh yes!  Beading makes everything better.  The process of beading is incredibly relaxing to me.  The dark green wool is a good background except that the dog hair is attracted to it like a magnet.  This one is getting ever so close to being finished.  Yay, that means I can start another wool circle.

These wool circles are 12 inches in diameter.  They are working quickly.  The wool shapes I have added take up a fair amount of real estate.  They are a new element that I am using.  How to stitch them is challenging to me.  Sue Spargo does a fantastic job working with wool.  I can learn from her but I want to be careful not to copy her.

  1. Those are pretty colors and shapes on this one, Angela! I like how they pop out against the darker background.

  3. Wool is a wonderful material to work with, but it does pick up, and refuse to let go of, dog hair.
