Slow Stitching Sunday


 It is so lovely to connect with other stitchers every Sunday.  I look forward to it every week.  Knowing that others find the same pleasure in connecting to thread and working with our hands is delightful.  I am grateful to our wonderful hostess Kathy for faithfully hosting every Sunday.

I have started another mandala.  This one is done on black wool but in the photo, it looks dark grey.  I love the way black makes bright colours pop.  Bright colours mean joy to me and that is the message I want to send with my art.  May we all have more joy!

    The world needs a lot of joy these days and your colourful and beautiful artworks certainly add beauty, fun and many a smile to one's day, Angela. Black is always the perfect colour to make all the other colours pop. Have a wonderful Christmas!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
