Mandala Monday


 Maybe this mandala isn't finished.  I thought it was but now I am looking at the photo and think it could use a little more.  Not a lot more, just a little something.  I love the iridescent orange with the blue even though I usually prefer analogous colour schemes.  I have to force myself to break out of that comfort zone every once in a while.

Orange and blue go well together, especially is there is a bit of sparkle!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
