Work in Progress Wednesday


 Another scroll that I am working on.  I do love the romance of it.  I tend towards the bright and bold and sparkly but sometimes I enjoy working with the softer colours.  And the LACE!  I do love the lace.  At least now I do.  When we got married so many years ago I didn't have a stitch of lace on my dress. It is interesting how we change.

I think our appreciation for lace grows as we grow older and walk deeper into textile craft. When I was younger I didn't realise how much work that had been put into producing lace.
Your softer colours are very restful.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
