Mandala Monday


 I don't think I have posted about this mandala previously.  I have to develop a system to keep track!  I did look back on my blog posts for a couple of months so if I did post about it, it wasn't recently.

My stitched mandalas have taken a back seat at the moment.  I am still playing with my paper-based mixed media mandalas though.  I wonder what will happen with these mandalas.  I was thrilled to have an installation with approximately 400 mandalas last year.  It would be cool to create something similar with the newest ones I have been making.  Who knows what can happen!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
