Mandala Monday


 My mandala journal is filling up.  The circle is the perfect geometric shape in my mind.  It is so safe and lovely.  An unending space in which to play.  Limitless possibilities are enticing and exciting to me.

This mandala was created from a photo of a mixed media and stitched piece.  The photo was manipulated and printed.  I then attached it to a painted base.  All of this a delightful time of play and joy!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
